FREE PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE
UPG Electrical - 350 21st Street, Monroe Wisconsin
Buses make continuous loops. A bus will arrive approximately every 15 - 20 minutes. UPG is located directly west of Lucky Seven Gas Station. This lot includes an accessible parking area with 15 spaces in area closest to building (includes 3 van accessible).

Accessible buses will be in the rotation.  With accessible buses, the wheelchairs can roll right on.  Accessible buses also have more room for strollers or service animals.  Bus drivers are in radio contact with each other.  If a driver picking up here sees a backup of people waiting to board, they can alert drivers from other areas of the shuttle routes to assist.  If wheelchair riders are waiting, they can alert those driving the accessible buses.

Downtown Drop Off is across from Grace Lutheran Church, adjacent to Cheese Days Makers Market. The walk from drop off to the downtown Square is one block.

Friday 5 – 10 pm Between UPG and Downtown Drop Off.  Two accessible buses in rotation of five total buses.
Saturday 10 am – 10 pm
Continual loops from UPG - to Historic Cheesemaking Center* - to Downtown Drop Off.  Three accessible buses are in the rotation of six total buses.  Due to World’s Biggest Polka event today, two additional buses will run from 11 AM – 3 PM.
Sunday
10 am – 5 pm Continual loops from UPG - to Historic Cheese Center* - to Downtown Drop Off.  Two accessible buses are in the rotation of five total buses.  Buses will not run as often from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (during parade).
* Historic Cheesemaking Center just til 3 pm Sat and Sun.  There is some street parking available in this area. The Center asks that their parking lot be only by shuttle bus riders with challenges to accessibility.


FAIRGROUNDS SHUTTLE (Saturday Only)
Continual loops from Green County Fairgrounds to Downtown Drop off by Grace Lutheran Church (1025 15th Avenue, Monroe WI).  Shuttle Hours are 10 am – 10 pm.  Bus picks up and drops off at the East Gate (intersection 29th Ave and 10th St). 

NOTE: On Sunday, staging for The Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade begins at Fairgrounds around 8 AM.  The parade steps off at 12:30 PM, and the last units should return to Fairgrounds around 2:30 – 3 PM. From 9 AM to 3 PM, you can expect congestion and delays with either entering or exiting the grounds.

STREET PARKING – is available in all directions around festival grounds (downtown Square).  For those unable to walk a distance, please use the FREE Park & Ride Shuttle Bus which drops off downtown OR the Courtesy Drop Off Zone.


PAY TO PARK - Lot adjacent to and directly east of Minhas Craft Brewery - enter and exit from the north side of the lot - on 12th Street. Also former Charter School lot (now Bauer Center), by Middle School - enter and exit from south side of the lot on 13th Street. Both of these areas are Pay to Park (fund raiser for Monroe High School Softball Teams).



MOTORCYCLE PARKING

  • West of Suisse Haus: partial area of 1200 block of 16th Ave, park along curbs only and leave center open.

  • Municipal Lot, South of Associated Bank at 1420 – 11th St.
